Gerald Beckham, MD is a board-certified physician specializing in interventional cardiology, currently serving as PIH Health’s chief of medicine. Dr. Beckham specializes in invasive procedures, such as stenting blocked arteries, typically accessing the patient’s heart through a single puncture site. During his extensive medical training, he served as chief resident in internal medicine at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles. Since then, he has published numerous medical journal articles. Additionally, Dr. Beckham served as chair of the PIH Health By Laws Committee, currently resides on the PIH Health Medical Staff Excellence Committee, and is completing his term as health chair of the Medicine Department.
