In the past three years, Lauren Nielsen turned a successful summer internship into a full-time career in the construction industry. Now being the director of business development at GCX, Nielsen is dedicated to advancing not only her career and company, but the industry and the relationships she’s built.
Nielsen has not only engaged with multi-million-dollar projects and clients but is seen as an ally and resource amongst her peers. Nielsen is constantly helping industry colleagues such as designers, brokers and developers, by answering construction questions and teaching them about the construction process so they can better educate their clients. She understands the connection between her role as a contractor and the information she can bring to the table. She is always prepared to identify a requirement from brokerage and is quick to provide critical data and bring her teams’ knowledge and experience.
