In 24 years of practice, the past three as managing principal of 160-person firm CO Architects, Jennifer “Jenna” Knudsen has focused on engaging diverse perspectives and transforming architectural design and construction by elevating collaboration, resulting in improved outcomes. An early adopter and industry beta-tester of digital design and building tools, Knudsen has applied Building Information Modeling (BIM) in an integrated project environment to unify design vision and accelerate build-team productivity. Knudsen’s innovations accelerated widespread industry adoption of BIM, and she continually pushes for improvement in integrated processes, resulting in leading-edge benchmark projects that are recognized around the country.
As both architectural team leader and hands-on doer, Knudsen demonstrates to clients and design/construction teams the potential and successful application of highly sustainable project strategies. As a result, she is recognized in the profession as groundbreaker in collaborative project delivery.
