Clara Tresgallo grew up in Puerto Rico, where she worked at her family’s construction company, surrounded by contractors and engineers. Watching and learning about design and buildings early on, she took an interest in architecture and design as she witnessed the effect that well designed spaces can have on people. She later joined The Design Partnership, designing hospitals and clinics.
As director of special projects at downtown Los Angeles firm Relativity Architects, Tresgallo has dedicated much of her focus to increasing accessibility and inclusion for a variety of projects throughout the US and abroad. From affordable housing and studios to hotels and timeshare properties, Tresgallo provides oversight and design leadership on a variety of typologies. Working in Los Angeles but serving clients all over the US, Tresgallo is forging a significant mark on contemporary architecture with her attention to space, light and natural materials.
