For the last 33 years, Uzzi Raanan has worked as a government attorney, a civil litigator, and as a bankruptcy attorney. At the Office of the California Attorney General, he handled felony appeals and writs in state and federal courts. Raanan spent five years at Manning & Marder, Kass, Ellrod, Ramirez, LLP, where he litigated complex private attorney general qui tam lawsuits brought by insurance companies against major fraud rings.
In April 2025, Raanan joined Greenberg Glusker, LLP, as a partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy Department, where he advises entities and individuals regarding out-of-court workouts, among other insolvency matters. He successfully defended the former Chapter 11 trustee East Coast Foods, Inc. (owner of Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles IP) regarding Barton Doctrine disputes.
