Los Angeles is already home to many quirky museums but one more opened over the weekend: the Sloomoo Institute’s slime museum.
The space, at 157 Fairfax Ave. across from The Grove, is 13,000 square feet. It is the Sloomoo Institute’s fifth flagship location. Tickets start at $34.99.
The museum features a DIY Slime Bar where people can make their own slime and has more than 500 gallons of cloud slime. Museum attendees can also imprint their hands into Sloomoo’s version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame and splatter slime on walls.
“Expanding to this vibrant city is a dream come true for us, especially with Los Angeles being the nucleus for entertainment,” said Karen Robinovitz, co-founder and co-chief executive of Sloomoo. “We want to continue sparking joy and creativity across the country, and we are excited to share our world of wonder with the diverse and dynamic community.”
