In a major industry shakeup, Tomer Fridman, one of the top selling residential real estate agents in L.A. by sales volume, has moved from Compass to Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California as its executive director of Private Wealth and Luxury Estates.
“This transition marks an incredible new chapter for me and my team as we leverage Christie’s globally recognized brand and vast international reach,” Fridman wrote in an Instagram post.
Fridman will continue to work with Sally Forster Jones, who has remained at Compass. Earlier this year, The Sally Forster Jones Group, led by Forster Jones, and Tomer and Isidora Fridman Group, led by Tomer Fridman and Isidora Fridman, launched Jones Fridman International.
“For many years, I have worked with Sally Forster Jones, and we will continue our very successful collaboration with even broader reach and influence,” Fridman added.
Fridman isn’t the only agent to leave Compass for Christie’s. In 2022 power broker Aaron Kirman and his large team left Compass for a new partnership with Christie’s.

Last month the Community Animal Medicine Project (CAMP) raised nearly $100,000 at its inaugural Pet Gala. The money raised will support the development of a veterinary clinic in South Los Angeles that will provide low-cost services to more than 20,000 dogs and cats annually.
CAMP currently operates four clinics in South Los Angeles, San Pedro and Mission Hills in addition to two mobile clinics.
At the Pet Gaa, billionaires Alya and Gary Michelson were honored with the Pioneer Award by Mayor Karen Bass and CAMP Executive Director Zoey Knittel to recognize their work on animal welfare and $1 million grant to CAMP.
“Without CAMP’s services, Los Angeles would be forced to grapple with an even greater crisis in our shelters and on our streets,” Gary Michelson said. “We are proud to support CAMP and the critical work they do to address the lack of accessible veterinary care – and we are grateful to be a partner in their life-saving work.”
