Lori Echavarria is a Los Angeles-based partner for WilmerHale who represents and advises public companies, corporate officers, financial institutions, hedge funds and other financial market participants facing government investigations and potential enforcement actions. With more than 25 years of experience in private practice and in the federal government, Echavarria is routinely engaged by recognized house- hold names across a wide swath of industries to represent them in high-stakes securities, white-collar and regulatory matters. Echavarria also provides crisis management and compliance counseling, conducts internal investigations, and advises on compliance programs for her diverse group of clients. She represents clients in the following industries, among others, asset management, private equity, health care, financial institutions, defense contracting, entertainment and insurance.
Echavarria was named partner-in-charge of the firm’s Los Angeles office in January 2024, and in that role, plays an important part driving the firm’s LA-based initiatives.
