David A. Lash has been a leading advocate, spokes-person, expert and public face for supporting access to justice for those who are the most vulnerable. He has devoted his career to using the law and his legal training to ensure that our democracy’s most life-affirming benefits are guaranteed to those who need them the most, those who are low-income, voiceless and come from marginalized communities. He currently serves as the managing counsel for Pro Bono and Public Interest Services at O’Melveny & Myers.
Lash has served as the chair of the State Bar’s Legal Services Trust Fund Commission, overseeing the allocation of millions of dollars of funding for legal services for the poor, he was an original member of the Association of Pro Bono Counsel and served as president of the organization that coordinates pro bono volunteer legal programs across the country.
