Arthel McDaniel is the co-managing partner of Polsinelli’s Los Angeles office and a principal in the firm’s Capital Markets | Commercial Lending and Tax Credit Finance Practice Groups. He is a creative strategist and problem-solver and works closely with clients to help them navigate the complex issues inherent in capital markets, commercial lending, securitization, tax-exempt bond and other structured finance transactions. McDaniel’s clients rely on his legal acumen and industry knowledge and experience to achieve their business objectives.
McDaniel also works with clients to resolve complicated issues inherent in affordable housing transactions. Whether representing lenders, investors or state and local governments, McDaniel uses his broad experience to structure innovative solutions to client problems. He is committed to creating opportunities to add value to client businesses. Uniquely, McDaniel has significant experience representing documentary film producers, advertising agencies and professional sports teams with respect to creative rights management issues and clearances.
