Vince Farhat represents companies and individuals in criminal and civil investigations, corporate internal investigations, and complex federal court litigation. His clients include licensed healthcare professionals, healthcare companies, publicly-traded and privately-held financial services companies, non-profits, construction companies, consulting firms, government contractors, and import and export companies. Farhat assists clients with corporate internal investigations, government investigations, parallel investigations, healthcare fraud investigations, FDA enforcement defense, False Claim Act defense, Civil RICO defense, affirmative enforcement matters, AML/BSA compliance and supply chain compliance.
Farhat served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Major Frauds section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office. In that position, he investigated and prosecuted white-collar crimes, including healthcare fraud, bank fraud, wire fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and money laundering. While in Major Frauds, Vince served as the criminal healthcare coordinator for the Central District of California. He served in both the Criminal and Civil Divisions of the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
