Satpal Nagpal, CPA, is GHJ’s Audit and Assurance Practice leader and has more than 20 years of public accounting experience providing audit, accounting and business consulting services. He comes from Mum- bai, India and is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi. Nagpal is a key member of the firm’s Waste Management Group and Nonprofit Practice, but Nagpal’s vast industry experience extends to distribution, real estate and home building, e-commerce and entertainment.
In addition to helping clients grow their businesses and assisting them on complex audit issues, Nagpal has led the implementation of new technologies that have helped the Audit and Assurance Practice become more efficient and effective. When the pandemic hit, the Firm relied heavily on Nagpal’s expertise to develop a remote audit framework. Nagpal is also known for encouraging collaboration between the various groups and people at the firm.
