Venisa Ibarra is a managing director in the Los Angeles practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP. She has over 25 years of audit experience in the aerospace & defense, technology and manufacturing industries, serving both public and private companies, including emerging growth companies.
Ibarra also has extensive experience in dealing with internal control matters and complex accounting issues, particularly relating to revenue recognition, purchase accounting, benefits accounting, stock-based compensation and other equity matters, as well as assisting clients with issues such as positioning for private and public debt financing, mergers and acquisitions, SEC registration statements and related compliance matters. Ibarra currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Turning Point School.
