Nicole Galil is an audit partner in KPMG’s Los Angeles office. She has 16 years of experience serving several public and private companies within the property and casualty insurance, banking, healthcare, and travel sectors. She has led engagements for large public company audits which include complex accounting issues such as CECL, actuarial reserving, capitation agreements, accounting for income taxes, reinsurance, derivatives and stock compensation. Additionally, she has worked on transitioning new large public company audit clients, including those in the financial services market.
Galil serves as a subject matter expert on advisory projects related to the banking and insurance industry in corporate finance and tax. She was nominated and participated as a reviewer in KPMG’s Quality Performance and Compliance Program. She is an industry and SEC instructor including developing materials and providing training to staff through partner level professionals.
