Kim Patton is a champion for small, local, and historically disadvantaged businesses, including those operated by women, minorities, veterans, LGBTQ+, and those who are differently-abled. As Swinerton’s senior outreach manager, she builds relationships with historically underrepresented firms, connects those firms to opportunities within Swinerton, and creates programs to support those firms once contracted. Patton’s efforts help to support Swinerton’s successful Supplier Diversity program, which has spent $3.6 billion over the last five years with small and disadvantaged businesses.
Patton has also been instrumental in developing and executing Swinerton’s new Prep for Success Program. The program was designed with the intent of better preparing our small and diverse business partners to effectively bid and execute work with Swinerton. The program is centered around relationship-building and gaining a high-level understanding of what to expect when partnering with Swinerton on a project.
