JULIE DU BROW
Director of Communications and Partnerships
U.S. Green Building Council, Los Angeles
Julie Du Brow serves as director, communications & partnerships for the thought-leading Los Angeles Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBCLA). Du Brow very effectively represents the USGBC-LA membership of construction, architecture, engineering and other green building professions. She is, herself, an expert in related topics from net zero and building decarbonization to sustainable landscaping.
Du Brow has a distinctive ability to speak to the details and intersections of these professions and their impacts. As an example of this quality in her work, Du Brow elevated Earvin “Magic” Johnson Park in the public eye to illustrate how the intersection of climate change mitigation and social equity is not only possible but preferable. She also does an outstanding job promoting Los Angeles as a hub for green building innovation. The reputation she’s enhanced has amplified the ability of LA-based architects, construction firms, landscapers, and related professions to set trends.
