Christopher Gauss has been promoted to Partner, Tax Services, at RSM US LLP – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market. Chris has served in the public accounting field for 17 years. He specializes in State Income and Local Tax compliance and planning for clients in a variety of industries, including consumer products, industrial products, manufacturing and distribution, technology, e-commerce, and service companies.

Prior to joining RSM, Chris spent 11 years at a Big Four public accounting firm, bringing great knowledge in the areas of federal income tax, FASB Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) Topic 740, as well as state and local tax.
