MVE + PARTNERS PROMOTES TWO NEW PRINCIPALS

MVE + Partners, a leading architectural, design and planning firm, announced earlier this month the promotion of Pieter Berger and Terrence Seah, NCARB, to Principal. Each has more than 15 years of experience.

Berger is a talented designer who’s created many of the firm’s notable mixed-use, residential, and international projects. As Design Director of the Irvine Office, he explores unique and innovative solutions creating timeless design with sensitivities to context, materiality, and client goals. Berger has had a prominent role on many current and completed projects including The Residences at Pacific City, Mandarin Oriental Residences Beverly Hills, Post House and Dixon Place in Salt Lake City, and The Ritz Carlton Residences Newport Beach. He’s a volunteer mentor for architecture students and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with Honors from U.C. Berkeley.

Seah is an experienced architect who leads many of the firm’s large scale, complex, urban, mixed-use projects with an emphasis on bringing a design vision to a constructable reality. As Director of MVE’s San Francisco Studio, he’s passionate in realizing design visions with the ability to facilitate collaborative teams on multifamily, mixed-use, and urban infill assignments. He brings extensive knowledge in the areas of building systems and technical coordination applying it to the management of complex large-scale projects. Seah is currently overseeing several thousand new units in northern California. He holds two Masters’ degrees from U.C. Berkeley; one in Architecture; the other in Structural Engineering. His Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering & Material Science is from Cornell.
