As one of Kirkland’s top litigation and trial lawyers, Tammy Tsoumas has served as lead counsel in several high-profile commercial and multidistrict litigation matters for leading U.S. and multinational corporations. She has extensive experience in contract disputes, false claims act, product liability and toxic tort, unfair competition and antitrust matters in state and federal courts in diverse industries, with a focus on aerospace and defense.
Tsoumas has served as lead counsel to global aerospace and defense industry giants Aerojet Rocketdyne and The Boeing Company in various matters, including a firstof-its-kind, high-profile, bet-the-company qui tam case in which Tsoumas and her team successfully settled for Aerojet just last month. In addition to her litigation and trial work, Tsoumas, who is also widely known for her experience in antitrust matters, is often called on to assist Kirkland’s leading Private Equity Platform in assessing provisional purchase and sale agreements.
