One example is Brian’s work for PG&E as lead trial counsel in its historic settlement announced April 2022 with six Northern California counties, resolving disputes surrounding the Kincade Fire and Dixie Fire. Brian worked tirelessly with PG&E and district attorneys to resolve the cases on a civil basis and worked alongside company leaders to build trust between the government and the utility to architect these agreements. He also represented Katten Muchin in defense of a $950 million malpractice claim brought by CashCall.
