Benazeer (Benny) Roshan chairs Greenberg Glusker’s Trusts and Probate Litigation Group. Her practice involves all aspects of litigation involving substantial trusts and estates, including contested conservatorships. For over 15 years, Roshan has successfully represented a wide range of fiduciaries and beneficiaries in disputes involving trusts, fiduciary appointments, accountings, removal, and surcharge actions. She is a respected trial attorney who fearlessly litigates her cases through trial and beyond.
Roshan recently represented a group of trust beneficiaries before the 9th Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel on the issue of whether the bankruptcy debt of the beneficiaries’ parent impacted their contingent beneficial interest in their family trust. The court ruled in favor of Roshan’s client in holding that the bankruptcy debt did not extend to Roshan’s client’s beneficial share. She also recently represented a trust beneficiary in an action contesting an amendment to the beneficiary’s family trust.
