LENNETTE LEE
Partner
King & Spalding LLP
In her commercial litigation practice, Lennette Lee specializes in solving complex consumer and employment issues, especially those impacting leading tech, media, and gig-economy companies.
Lee recently obtained a complete victory for Snap Inc. in a high-profile federal court case alleging that Snap was liable for product liability and other tort claims because content posted on its Snapchat app led to the shooting death of a minor. Lee’s team successfully obtained dismissal of all claims against Snap on grounds that Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act shields communications platforms from liability for third party content. Given her deep experience in litigating CDA Section 230, she is currently representing ByteDance and Snap in multiple high stakes matters around the country where the scope of the CDA immunity is being challenged. Lee’s civil litigation practice focuses on high-stakes disputes that span a wide range of claims.
