Over the past ten years, Frank A. Petrigliano, MD has developed a tertiary referral practice that draws not only from Southern California but also includes patients who travel from outside of the state for evaluation and treatment. This practice focuses on complex athletic shoulder injuries, revision shoulder surgery, shoulder arthroplasty and reverse arthroplasty, as well as fractures of the shoulder. He also maintains a busy general sports medicine surgery practice that includes the treatment of knee, shoulder and elbow injuries. In 2019, he was named the chief of the division of sports medicine and director of the Epstein Family Center for Sports Medicine at USC.
