Dr. Moiez Khankhanian is considered a pillar in the community both in his role as a doctor of psychiatry and in his willingness to teach, mentor and serve those around him. He constantly sets up educational programs for current and aspiring healthcare workers and nurses, teaching them how to better care for patients with severe mental illnesses. In his leadership role as chief of psychiatry at LA Downtown Medical Center, Dr. Khankhanian ensures the hospital, and its staff, are constantly trying to provide the best care and support for patients and family members alike.
