Situated in BPM’s Santa Monica office, Helena Song is a senior manager in the firm’s Assurance practice. With more than 17 years of experience, Song specializes in financial statement audits and financial reporting for both private and publicly held companies. She works closely with clients in a variety of industries, including real estate, manufacturing and distribution, and technology.
As a core member of BPM’s Real Estate Industry Group, Song handles a substantial portfolio of real estate engagements, including real estate funds, residential and commercial developers, owner-operators, and property managers. Song started her career with KPMG. She was previously a principal with Gumbiner Savett Inc., before Gumbiner and BPM combined in 2021. Fluent in Mandarin, Song spearheaded Gumbiner’s efforts for China-focused pre-IPO audit clients prior to the combination. Song has consistently demonstrated leadership skills through engaging her teams to improve the audit processes and increase efficiency.
