Mahru Madjidi does not just litigate employment cases, she wins them at a scale few attorneys in the country can match. As the managing shareholder of Shegerian & Associates, she directs firm-wide litigation strategy, overseeing the firm’s 65 attorneys, while remaining an active trial lawyer in the highest- stakes employment civil rights cases. In the past year, her leadership has produced verdicts and settlements exceeding $230 million.
In 2025, Madjidi helped secure the largest age discrimination jury verdict in U.S. history, a $103 million jury verdict in Slagel v. Liberty Mutual Insurance. Madjidi is one of the few, if not the only, attorney in our country with not one but two 9-figure single plaintiff employment verdicts.
