Tashlyk
Lyubov “Luba” Tashlyk has joined the board of directors at Gracelight Community Health as a community representative. She is the Associate Director of the Surgical/Trauma/Transplant Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she has served in leadership since 2006. With nearly two decades of critical care nursing experience, Tashlyk has guided teams in advanced patient care, led quality improvement initiatives, and mentored nursing staff. She has received awards for excellence in practice, time management, and attendance, and has presented at national and international healthcare conferences. Tashlyk earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Capella University, a Master of Science in Nursing Education, and bachelor’s and associate degrees in nursing. Her leadership and vision will help Gracelight strengthen its mission of providing high-quality, equitable healthcare to the diverse communities we serve.
Doumit
Samia Doumit has joined the board of directors at Gracelight Community Health as a consumer representative. A Lebanese American actress, producer, writer, and acting teacher, Doumit brings more than 30 years of experience in television, film, theater, and radio. Her credits include The Hot Chick, Shameless, Criminal Minds, CSI and ER. She began acting at age five and was discovered as a teenager by Aaron Spelling, landing her first television role on Beverly Hills, 90210. She has since appeared in network series, independent films, and stage productions, and created original projects for MTV, Funny or Die and Indie 103.1 FM. Doumit has spent more than a decade teaching and mentoring students at The Markland Studio and Eastside Arts. She studied at the California Institute of the Arts, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Emerson College. Her voice and experience will help Gracelight continue creating authentic, lasting relationships with the communities we serve.
