Jenny Pelaez focuses her practice on complex commercial and class action litigation at the trial and appellate levels. She has extensive experience representing clients in high stakes matters involving claims under antitrust, securities, market manipulation and consumer protection laws. She also regularly represents clients in a wide range of industries in securities, class action, and derivative litigation.
Pelaez also has significant experience on the regulatory side, regularly responding to inquiries from state Attorneys General, the SEC, the DOJ and the CFPB on behalf of her major financial institution clients. On the regulatory side of her practice, she most recently successfully handled responses to a New York Attorney General inquiry into her client’s payments practices.
