Norton Rose Fulbright US partner Rebecca Winthrop has spent nearly 35 years practicing financial insolvency and bankruptcy law.
Today, Winthrop has a national practice and works primarily with clients in the healthcare, manufacturing, aviation and agriculture industries. One of her most notable cases involved her representation of the largest property damage claimant in Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s bankruptcy case, which suffered millions of dollars in damages in the Paradise, California fire. She has handled a wide range of matters, from restructuring millions of dollars of equipment lease obligations for a stand-alone emergency room system in Texas, to negotiating the purchase of a two-story tall million-dollar forklift used to construct nuclear submarines in New Jersey.
