Justin Rawlins is vice chair and managing director of Paul Hastings’ global financial restructuring group, and a member of the Global Finance practice at the firm. Rawlins principally represents asset managers and lenders investing in private businesses with an emphasis on complex financings, special situations and restructurings. In 2024, Rawlins’ high-volume practice spanned corporate bankruptcy, debt finance and special situations. He successfully orchestrated the complete recovery of Raven Capital’s business, guided TCW through Navis-tar’s out-of-court restructuring and advised Sorrento Therapeutics in a bankruptcy that stood out for its layers of complexity. He serves on the University of Southern California President’s Leadership Council, and is a board member for both St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica and its foundation.
