Adventist Health Glendale and Simi Valley Service Area
Alice Issai joined Adventist Health Glendale in July 2018 with a vision to grow the medical center into a hub for “destination medicine” with world-class services in oncology, cardiovascular medicine, neurosciences, interventional pulmonology, advanced gastroenterology, orthopedics and more. Now, Issai presides over two Southern California hospitals — Adventist Health Glendale, a tertiary medical center, and Adventist Health Simi Valley, an acute care hospital.
In the summer of 2024, Adventist Health placed Issai atop the newly formed Glendale and Simi Valley service area model, integrating operations and leadership at its Glendale and Ventura County campuses. In the months since, she has advanced her vision to enhance operational efficiency at both hospitals.
