John Glaspy, MD has been instrumental in shaping UCLA Health’s cancer care program throughout his career, playing a key role in its growth and evolution. When he began his career at UCLA, the oncology faculty included just six members. Today, thanks to his leadership, it has expanded into a robust team of hundreds. A pioneer in holistic cancer care, Dr. Glaspy believes in treating patients as whole individuals, not just cases of disease. He emphasizes a comprehensive approach that addresses the emotional, psychological and social needs of both patients and their families.
