Norman Lepor has distinguished himself as an academic leader locally with Cedars-Sinai Hospital, the Smidt Heart Institute and the UCLA School of Medicine, where he has held the title of clinical professor of medicine. Dr. Lepor serves regional and national leadership roles with the Board of Governors of the internationally esteemed American College of Cardiology (ACC). He served as president of the California State Chapter of the ACC and spearheaded an initiative to partner with the Israel Heart Society and the Save-A-Heart Foundation to bring international cardiologists to train research fellows at centers of excellence including Cedars-Sinai, Stanford, and USC.
