Dr. Ramyar Mahdavi is a pioneer in interventional pulmonology in Los Angeles. Prior to joining Adventist Health Glendale, he established and directed the interventional pulmonology program at Keck Hospital of USC and was the program director of interventional pulmonology fellowship at the Keck Hospital of USC. He was also an associate professor of clinical medicine at USC Keck School of Medicine. With nearly 30 years of experience in medicine, Dr. Mahdavi sees adult patients for issues such as airway diseases, severe emphysema, lung cancer and pleural effusion (water around the lungs). Originally from Iran, Dr. Mahdavi speaks English and Farsi.
