Los Angeles-based architecture firm AC Martin is pleased to announce recent leadership promotions recognizing the strength of these leaders’ expertise and the impact they bring to the firm and the industry.
MICHAEL CHANG, AIA, DBIA, LEED AP, CDT, has been promoted to Managing Principal of the firm’s Higher Education, Civic, and Special Services studios, overseeing projects throughout California. Michael is a licensed architect in California with a Bachelor of Architecture from UC Berkeley. He is President of the Asian American Architects & Engineers Association (AAa/e), and a mentor to high school students through the ACE Mentor Program.
SAMI KHOURY, AIA, has been promoted to Principal in the firm’s San Diego office overseeing multifamily, mixeduse, and commercial projects. Sami is a licensed architect in California with a Masters in Design Studies, Project Management and Real Estate Development from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Architecture from USC. He serves on the AIA San Diego Board of Directors.
KYLE PETERSON, has been promoted to Principal in the firm’s multifamily studio. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Architecture with an Urban Issues Emphasis from The New School of Architecture & Design, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Utah Valley University. He is actively involved in the Los Angeles chapter of the Urban Land Institute.
