RDC Promotes Terry Todd, AIA, to Principal
Todd is a co-leader of RDC’s Grocery and Market studio, a design practice that focuses on grocery stores and retail centers.
“Terry Todd provides excellent leadership to RDC’s grocery and retail practice,” said RDC CEO Brad Williams. “His diligence, client service, and work group leadership have resulted in continued success and expanded client services to the grocery and market community.”
A licensed architect, Todd joined RDC in 1995 and has focused on architecture and design services for anchor retailers and shopping centers, developing an extensive knowledge and perspective on creating retail that serves the daily needs of local and regional communities. Todd’s client work includes multiple locations for national retailer Kroger, the Southern California Erewhon rollout, Bristol Farms new stores and renovations, and new grocery concepts located both in the United States and abroad.
Maura Schafer Named Principal of RDC-S111, Inc.
Maura Schafer, Chief Marketing Officer of RDC-S111, Inc, has been named Principal of the firm where she leads the marketing strategy, which is comprised of three creative studios: RDC, Studio One Eleven and DyeLot.
Schafer is a boomerang staff member who re-joined in 2019 as Chief Marketing Officer. She has served in marketing leadership positions in various industry sectors, including commercial real estate development, architecture, brokerage and finance. Her background includes holding positions with significant public relations firms, which is the basis for her focuses on developing the firm’s reputation and relationships.
“Since re-joining RDC-S111, Inc, in 2019, Schafer has restructured the firm’s marketing department, emphasizing talent, systems and purpose of the department in order to help to achieve firmwide goals that tie to exceptional professionalism and client service,” said Williams “Her contribution has provided meaningful benefits to our firm and our clients.”
Ian Denny, Chief Financial Officer of RDC has been elevated to Senior Principal.
“Ian Denny is a strategic leader at RDC-S111, Inc. His initiatives bolster the firm’s financial health and guide our future strategies,” Williams said. “We are recognizing his contributions with the title of Senior Principal.”
Denny brings over two decades of financial and strategic management experience across various industries. Before joining RDC in 2015, he focused on financial software for the AEC sector. At the firm he enhances efficiency, leverages technology for transparency, and leads with a holistic view of the business and the people in it. He optimizes sustainable profitability, cash flow, and returns on equity; identifies growth opportunities; and protects shareholder interests. He co-leads the firm’s strategic plan and heads the finance team.
