Before launching venture capital firm Fifth Wall in 2016, Greiwe co-founded influential real estate company Invitation Homes Inc. and served as the company’s chief technology officer from 2012 to 2015. Drawing on Greiwe’s background in the real estate industry, Fifth Wall invests in startups developing technology for the real estate, climate technology and retail sectors. The firm has approximately $3.2 billion in commitments and capital under management and operates offices in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London and Singapore. Its portfolio includes Santa Monica-based health tech company Carbon Health Technologies Inc., storage-sharing marketplace Neighbor and smart home automation company SmartRent Technologies Inc. Fifth Wall closed a $500 million climate fund in 2022 and, at the end of last year, announced it had closed an additional $340 for the fund.
