Riot Games is the developer of wildly popular titles such as “League of Legends” and “Valorant.” Jadeja stepped into the role of chief executive of the gaming developer and publisher at the end of last year after more than a decade in various positions on its senior executive team. He previously held the roles of chief operating officer and chief financial officer. As Riot’s leader, Jadeja oversees global corporate strategy and development, venture investments, enterprise technology and security, corporate affairs and other key operational functions. Prior to his work in the gaming industry, Jadeja was co-head of West Coast consumer retail coverage for Goldman Sachs, where he led transactions including Lululemon Athletica Inc.’s initial public offering in 2007 and the 2010 sale of retailer Gymboree.
What’s the best advice you ever got?
“The world doesn’t stay static.” Basically, a reminder that when things feel tough or feel overwhelming, to remember that the environment and context around us is always changing, and this too shall pass. In parallel, the importance of investing in personal growth and to never get too comfortable.
