Hollywood producer Grazer has been dealmaking. In January of last year, his company bought the remaining 49% in prolific TV comedy producer Jax Media, after acquiring the majority in 2018. Jax content has received 92 prime-time Emmys nominations. In November 2022, Imagine raised $15 million in venture capital for its Hollywood worker digital platform Impact. Beverly Hills-based Imagine is a sizeable boutique producer usually working within the Hollywood studio system. Its movies have won 10 Oscars, including Best Picture with “A Beautiful Mind” for 2001. Over the years, Grazer’s films and TV shows have been nominated for 43 Oscars and 198 Emmys. Grazer’s partnership with filmmaker Ron Howard, a co-founder of Imagine, goes back 38 years to when the company started. Reports suggest that Imagine has been entertaining offers to sell.
