Broukhim co-founded FabFitFun in 2010 with his brother, Daniel, and Katie Echevarria Rosen Kitchens. In 2013, the West Hollywood company began marketing subscription boxes filled with self-care and lifestyle products. He helped grow the company to more than one million members. Before founding FabFitFun, Broukhim co-founded Charlie, a Los Angeles media strategy company whose clients included Samuel L. Jackson and the Golden Globe Awards. He graduated from Harvard University in 2007 and in 2013 earned a JD from Stanford University Law School.
What’s the best advice you ever got?
To always thank God. It’s important to keep in perspective the scale of the universe, the blessings we’re given within it, and our purpose in helping to perfect it.
What’s your favorite movie, all time and in any category?
“Inglourious Basterds” – a delightful counterfactual revenge fantasy.
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
Visiting Iran when it’s safe to do so. My parents were born in Iran, and I’ve never been. I’d love to see it with my family one day.
What was your first car?
Little Tikes Cozy Coupe.
A true classic! Like to have it back?
Definitely.
What’s the best thing about living in Los Angeles?
It’s the creative capital of the world. It’s much more common and socially acceptable in Los Angeles to create something than in other big cities.
