Hackman is the chief executive of Hackman Capital Partners. The company has invested in more than 330 properties, representing approximately 37 million square feet across the U.S., Canada and Europe. It has more than $10 billion in overall assets under management and is the industry’s largest owner and operator of independent film and television studios and related media facilities. Prior to forming Hackman Capital, Hackman began his real estate career at Majestic Realty and later went on to work at CBRE Group Inc. He is a past trustee for The Willows School in Culver City and Windward School in Los Angeles. Hackman also serves as a trustee and executive member of the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles.
