Planting co-founded Brentwood-based GPI Cos. in 2008 along with Cliff Goldstein. The company is currently developing Overland & Ayers, a mixed-use project taking shape just south of the former Westside Pavilion. The six-story development will feature 201 apartment units on top of approximately 6,200 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and parking. Planting previously served as a senior partner at J.H. Snyder Co., and as a partner at Maguire Partners. Planting is on the board of Loyola High School of Los Angeles and is a member of the advocacy and economic development committee at the Hollywood Partnership.
