Soboroff is an active real estate developer, civic leader, businessman and philanthropist. His resume includes former Los Angeles police commissioner, a parks commissioner, a vice chair of the Los Angeles Dodgers, chair and chief executive of Playa Vista, champion for the building of Staples Center (now Crypto.com Arena) and chair of the Center for the Study of Los Angeles at Loyola Marymount University. He also served on the boards of the Weingart Foundation and Macerich Co.
