Berger co-founded Sawtelle-based radiology imaging company RadNet Inc. in 1980 and has served as its president and chief executive. Under his leadership, RadNet has grown into one of the largest radiology imaging companies in the nation, with a network of more than 360 owned and/or operated outpatient imaging centers in eight states generating roughly $1.6 billion in revenue last year. This year, RadNet added to that roster with the purchase of seven outpatient centers in Houston. The company is also incorporating artificial intelligence algorithms into all of its imaging centers. A board-certified specialist in nuclear medicine, Berger has more than 25 years of experience in the development and management of successful health care businesses.
