Chief Executive, President, Astrana Health
Sim became sole chief executive of Alhambra-based physician practice-management platform company Astrana Health (formerly Apollo Medical Holdings) in January after serving as co-chief executive for two years. The company traces its roots back to 1992. Through a series of acquisitions and rebrandings, Astrana Health grew into a nationwide physician practice management company that partners with over 10,000 affiliated providers and operates 61 outpatient locations. Last year it posted $1.4 billion in revenue and had about 1,500 employees. Prior to joining Astrana, Sim co-founded and served as chief technology officer at medical device startup company Theratech.
