Dean, School of Cinematic Arts, USC
Daley has been the dean of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts for more than three decades. She is the longest-serving dean at USC. The school was founded in 1929 and has produced generations of Hollywood bigwigs including directors and producers. In 2022, the school announced a partnership with Sony Electronics Inc. to bring in the latest Sony equipment and build a virtual production studio. It launched a sustainable filmmaking production initiative the same year. In 2006, Daley presided over the renaming of the USC School of Cinema-Television as the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Daley was also a founding director of the USC Annenberg Center for Communication. Prior to joining USC, Daley worked for the Mark Taper Forum and was a producer for MGM Television. She has worked on consulting projects in the United Araba Emirates, Saudi Arabia, China, India and Turkey, among other locations.
