Dunleavy heads retail banking for the Southern California region of Bank of Montreal. The Canadian bank, also known as BMO, has greatly expanded its presence here after it completed its acquisition of Bank of the West last year for $16.3 billion. BMO has seven offices in the Los Angeles metro area and has reported thousands of trades and transactions between Bank of West clients and its capital markets businesses. Prior to BMO, Dunleavy had a brief stint at Banc of California, and early in her career rose the ranks at Bank of America for over 26 years. She is a board member of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles as well as Junior Achievement of Los Angeles.

What’s the best advice you ever got?
My father told me to work harder than anyone else and it has served me well.

What’s your favorite movie, all time and in any category?
“Amadeus.”

What’s at the top of your bucket list?
Fly second seat in a Blue Angel F/A-18.

What’s the best thing about living in Los Angeles?
Within 5-mile radius of all four grandchildren.
