Freedman is founding principal of Intrepid Investment Bankers, which offers mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and strategic advisory services. Over his four decades in investment banking, he has advised more than 500 middle-market companies ranging in value from $20 million to $1 billion. Transactions include the acquisition of the Los Angeles Kings hockey team and the sale of Encore Video. Prior to Intrepid, he founded Barrington Associates in 1982, which sold to Wells Fargo in 2006. Freedman is a member of numerous boards, sitting on the Board of Advisors of the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management, the Board of Directors of the Yosemite Conservancy, the Board of Directors of the Simon Foundation for Education and Housing and the Board of Directors of the Concern Foundation for Cancer Research.

If you ever are confronted with having to make a difficult decision, just ask yourself, “what is the right thing to do?” It’s that simple.
