Paul Sweeney has practiced law for over 30 years, focusing on complex business disputes, both individual and class action lawsuits, involving unfair business practices, false advertising, consumer fraud, trade regulation, privacy violations, breach of contract and violations of various federal and state statutes and regulations. He is both a litigator and a trial attorney, having handled a number of bench and jury trials. He is also a “rainmaker” and represents Fortune 1000 clients in the manufacturing, retail, technology, financial services, food and beverage, medical device, and entertainment industries.
Sweeney has also served on K&L Gates’ Management and Executive committees, and has served as the firmwide chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. He also currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of Public Counsel (as well as former chairperson), the Hollywood YMCA (as well as former chairperson) and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
