For over two decades, Valerie Goo, managing partner of Crowell & Moring’s Los Angeles office, has represented some of the world’s leading companies in complex litigation involving trademark infringement, unfair competition, trade secrets, false advertising and consumer class actions. She has tried numerous cases in federal and state courts across the country and holds a successful record in representing clients in commercial litigation and intellectual property matters, including eight- and nine-figure disputes.
She currently represents several large companies in fiercely fought intellectual property, commercial disputes and trade secrets cases between competitors. For example, Goo led a team of Crowell attorneys in a commercial and trade secrets litigation matter pending in Los Angeles Superior Court and secured a significant victory on behalf of a leading aeronautics company, obtaining a trio of summary judgment rulings for the company and two co-defendants on all causes of action.
